6. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Purchased Directly from Reformys Pilates Equipment

If you purchased your Product directly from our online store, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us — Email hello@reformys.com.au or call 0480 801 663.
  • Provide proof of purchase — Include your original tax invoice or order confirmation showing the purchase date.
  • Describe the defect — Provide a written description of the issue and, where possible, clear photographs or video of the defect.
  • We will assess your claim — We will acknowledge your claim within 3 business days and advise you on next steps, including whether we require the Product or part to be returned.
  • Remedy will be provided — We will provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time once the claim is assessed.

Purchased Through an Authorised Retailer

If you purchased your Product through an authorised retailer (including third-party stores or studios), please follow this two-step process:

  • Step 1 — Contact the retailer first. Return to or contact the retailer from whom you purchased the Product. The retailer is your first point of contact for warranty claims and is obligated under the Australian Consumer Law to assist you.
  • Step 2 — Contact Reformys directly if unresolved. If the retailer has not resolved your claim within 14 business days, or if the retailer is unable to assist, you may contact Reformys Pilates Equipment directly at hello@reformys.com.au or 0480 801 663.

When contacting us directly for a retailer purchase, please include: your proof of purchase, the name and location of the retailer, a description of the defect, and any correspondence you have had with the retailer regarding the claim.

Do not return any goods without first contacting us or your retailer. Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

7. Remedies

Where a valid warranty claim is made, Reformys Pilates Equipment will, at our discretion (subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law):

  • Repair the defective component or Product
  • Replace the defective component or Product with the same or equivalent model
  • Provide a refund of the original purchase price.

For major failures under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose your remedy. For minor failures, we will determine the most appropriate remedy.

8. Return Shipping & Costs

Where a Product or component is required to be returned for assessment or remedy:

  • Reformys Pilates Equipment will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping for valid warranty claims where we require the item to be sent back to us.
  • We will arrange and cover the cost of redelivery of any repaired or replacement item to the original delivery address.
  • Where a claim is assessed and found not to be covered by this warranty, we will advise you of any applicable return shipping costs before proceeding.

Packaging Requirements

The customer is responsible for packaging the Product or component prior to return shipment. Returned items must be packaged to a reasonable standard sufficient to protect the item from damage during transit. This does not require original packaging — however, the customer should use appropriate materials such as bubble wrap, foam, or sturdy cardboard boxing to ensure the item is secure.

Reformys Pilates Equipment reserves the right to refuse a warranty claim or reduce the remedy offered where a returned item has been damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging by the customer. Where possible, we will notify the customer before making this assessment.

9. Warranty Transfer

This warranty is provided to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to subsequent owners of the Product unless otherwise agreed in writing by Reformys Pilates Equipment.

10. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of Australia. Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
